Offshore Maritime Services is a professional launch service company operating custom-built vessels. With over 25 years of operating along the South African coast, OMS specialises in loading, transport and delivery of spares, crew changes and technicians. We also land spares for repair, equipment and waste.
OSC provides specialised, reliable launch services, operating our fleet of nine launches 24/7 to transfer crews, stores, ship spares, air freight and freshwater at anchorage. We also offer hull cleaning operations and have bases in all major South African ports as well as entities in Angola, Mozambique and Guyana.
Membership is open to all companies offering OPL services from one or more ports in South Africa provided that they have been in operation for at least six months and hold valid company registration documents as well as port licences for operating as an OPL service provider. Members must employ marine crews consisting of South African citizens that are properly qualified, certificated and experienced.
